OVERSCANUI KIT
no button at all a worn bezel with weight channels do not converge zero depth instrumented, full of smoke a field of real characters a camera looking out additive, so no shadow hairlines, no new shader no raster, so no scanlines

A screen that is painted, not appended. The program moves the cursor, erases, inserts, scrolls a region and draws boxes, and this is a VT100 core plus the common xterm additions, replaying a recorded session at 9600 baud. An escape sequence it does not implement is refused visibly: printing it would put [?1049h on the screen, and dropping it would let every character after it be drawn as if the state change had happened. Instead the status line names it, and the cell where it arrived is outlined. This session opens with two of them, as real full-screen programs do. Colours the theme never chose are counted, not invented. Katakana take two cells.
